I Remember it Well

I got a new dress this past weekend! It's another awesome find from a very cool thrift store in Boise, Idaho called Re-Style. It's a thrift store specifically run to raise money for homeless animals. I think that's pretty swell and they happen to have the best prices around, since all the other thrift stores around here decided they were something like Ross or TJ Maxx. Re-Style prices their items like a thrift store should. I don't think any of their clothes are over $5. I think maybe their vintage stuff might be, but that's understandable, if it's a cool piece. I also scored three sweaters, one being a very neat gray one that is something I've been searching for for a long time. I'll take photos soon to share with you!

I almost didn't even notice this dress. I looked through all the clothes, tried on a bunch, and then randomly saw it just before I left. It fit, which is one of the challenges for me when finding clothing I that I really like and fits my style. I'm bigger on the top than I am on the bottom, so what might fit perfectly around my waist and hips might not work in the chest area. The good news is I am working on my fitness and have already lost over ten pounds, so clothes are actually starting to fit me more often and it's a great self-esteem booster.

Brian took these photos of me outside of our house before going to a photo shoot to take engagement photos for a very adorable couple. It was fun and a very enjoyable shoot to do. They were good models and were easy to take pictures of. Here's a picture...

That photo seriously makes me swoon. They are lovely together. Their names are Danny & Michelle and they are really awesome people. Michelle has her own blog and you can check it out here.

I would like to start doing more formal style shoots of myself in my outfits. Haven't really found the opportunity just yet, but that is in my future plans! Hopefully in the near future!

These photos were pretty good for an impromptu session outside on the driveway. Brian is the one person that can actually take decent photos of me. Probably because I am comfortable with him and not as shy and awkward. He's fun to go on photo adventures with. Actually, any type of adventure is fun with him. I want to go on another one!

Thanks for reading! Come back again!
